i want to draw Octahedral Plane, also known as pi plane or deviatoric plane.I have studied some text books and journals on Plasticity and Nonlinear,but still having confusion.Any good link or suggestion how to calculate or draw Octahedral Plane?How to draw and how to calculate Octahedral Plane component?Sorry, I never heard of the deviatoric plane until today. I did find a link, given below that might help. Probably you need to find an engineer familiar with this and ask him/her. This forum seems an unlikely place for that.
Is your question how one projects a triple (s1, s2, s3) to a point on the deviatoric plane? Or, are you more interested in software that will actually make a plot. Making your question more specific, maybe with a specific example might get you more replies.
