When do ears go back to normal after a plane ride?

I took a flight plane flight two days ago and my ears still have not 'popped'. You could try holding your mouth shut and filling your mouth with air (to add pressure) and that "pops" them. Next time you are on a plane take gum and chew it while the plane is taking off and landing. That helps to prevent this all from happening. Good Luck!
