Thanks for everything. Can I use a consular ID Card to take a plane to Texas and back to Indiana?ya you can I just did that. Used my ID card that had my name and picture on itCan I use a consular ID Card to take a plane to Texas and back to Indiana? No, your id must be issued by a US federal or state agency. If you are not a US citizen and don't have a US issued id, you will need a passport issued by your government, a consular id is not acceptable id for flying, nor is a school id.

Any type of government issued photo id is acceptable. School issued photo ids are not. So your consular card should be fine. But you may want to check with your airline to be sure. Or if you have a passport that will work too.Can I use a consular ID Card to take a plane to Texas and back to Indiana?
