In New Moon, why do Alice and Bella take a plane to Italy? How does that make any sense?

When the two of them are fleeing off to Italy to prevent Edward from doing something idiotic, they take a plane and Alice says, "it's faster than running." How does that make any sense whatsoever? Edward can run faster than a speeding bullet and he also flies, why didn't Alice just grab Bella on her back and fly her to Italy? It would have been quicker than standing in line, and going through baggage check at the airport.In New Moon, why do Alice and Bella take a plane to Italy? If they were faster, Im 100% sure alice would have ran instead of taking the plane and risk Edward killing himself (or the Volturi). Also Italy is really far so yeah.



No offence but I think you might've watched the movie first, were they show Edward flying. The movie is crap and the special effects were even crappier, but that as nothing to do with the question. because they can run fast but edward is the only one who can run faster then a bullet. And an airoplane goes atleast 400 km (i dont know what that is in mile sorry in aussie) but a vamp goes like 200 and edward goes like 300 so its eaiser and bella feels sick when edward is running her a short distance let alone all the way to italyIn New Moon, why do Alice and Bella take a plane to Italy? Uh... Vamps, at least in the Twilight series, can not fly. I don't know how you would have gotten that impression... they would have to go across the ocean.. alice may be able to hold her breath that long, but bella can't. and maybe it really is faster... i don't know.

Because you cant run on an ocean. and they can probably run very fast but not as fast as a plane cause its higher up and it passes the land quicker.
