I am also under the impression that the sagittal plane is the x axis and the coronal plane is the y axis.
I'm trying to verify this info so I can be sure.Is the transverse plane the z axis on a human? You haven't defined how you defined X,Y and Z. Assuming you defined the Z axis to run from head to toe. Then a transverse plane is indeed a plane normal to this axis.
Of more graphically it's the same plane that a guillotine falls in.
You can also see the 3 medical planes at

Is the transverse plane the z axis on a human?if its a plane, yu hav the longitude axis, vertikal axis, %26amp; side axis
(krats sumtimes kall it the "lateral" axis).
In math problems, yuzeyully yuze x, y, z
oenlee superkratz yuze werds like "transvers"
