How can I go to the cockpit after the plane landed?

I'm 14 years old. I'm going to have a 13-hour flight with my father and my sister on October and am wondering if there is a possibility that they will allow an ordinary passenger to enter the cockpit after the plane landed. And would they allow me to take a picture in the cockpit? By the way, the airlines is KLM.

How should I ask the FA's? Should I say, "Excuse me, can I see the cockpit please? I just want to take a picture of it." ?How can I go to the cockpit after the plane landed?Hi, I'm glad that you are so enthusiastic about flying. Once the plane has landed, security is not as much of a concern. However, since it's a 13 hour flight, I'm assuming it's an international flight. Despite that, once the plane is at the gate, the pilots usually open the cockpit door. Depending on the size of the plane, the first class cabin may be in between the exit door and the cockpit. You can definitely talk to the flight attendants, and explain your curiosity, and ask if they think it would be okay to meet the pilots. I hope this helps. How can I go to the cockpit after the plane landed? You should ask the cabin crew when in flight. Usually it is not allowed but they might make an exception if a flight attendant (not your parents because they could hi-jack) is supervising you when in flight. As for after landing the pilots might supervise you. It really depends on if the crew is willing to bend the rules and allow a small guy up there. KLM is a Netherlands based operator so it might be a little more flexible but the FAA/EASA and ICAO usually calls the shots when in the air.

"Excuse me, can you see if I can check out the cockpit sometime? Even after landing is fine."

That should get you what you want as it offers the most flexibility for the crew. How can I go to the cockpit after the plane landed?I seriously doubt they would let you, given the worries over high jacking. Not only terrorist but run of the mill nut jobs. The crew would get in trouble, it's probably written down in their rules. I used to do it all the time as a kid, like about 10 yo

You can try. I would say "excuse me ma'm, would you talk to the captain and see if there would be a time when I could look in the cockpit?"
