How old do you have to be to bring someone on a plane with you?

I'm 16 and already know i can ride a plane by myself but can I bring my brother who is 13 along with me?How old do you have to be to bring someone on a plane with you?You don't gotta be an age you ever watch snakes on a plane a 4 year old rides with his 7year old brother lolHow old do you have to be to bring someone on a plane with you?
Check with your airline to be sure of the rules. Most airlines let children as young as 12 fly by themselves with no special treatment but to take another minor, 15 or 16 is the usual minimal age.

Remember that some 16 year olds are already parents so obviously they could bring their own baby.

Since your brother is not that young, I think you should be fine. I'm a mom myself and was a Flight Attendant for 13 years.

I recommend having a cell phone. Have your parents check-in with you (often they do have to sign for kids even if the minors are not flying under the unaccompanied minor program). They should also stay at the airport until the aircraft has taken off.

Make sure whomever is meeting you has the correct flight information. Once when I was 12, I ended up hours waiting for my aunt and uncle who thought I was on a later flight (in the days before cell phones).

Bring the recharger for the phone and any other electronical gadgets. Make sure they're fully charged but sometimes there are delays. It's not fun when you're waiting and they run out of juice.

Don't hesitate to ask for help or information at any point of the flight. Sometimes kids have trouble with the lavatories on the plane or the ear phones.

Keep an eye on your brother and have a good flight! How old do you have to be to bring someone on a plane with you?Yes you can. Your brother will no longer be considered a minor either. So he also could fly alone. At 12 years old a child can fly without being required someone with them or special handling. How old do you have to be to bring someone on a plane with you?
Yes. You could both go as unaccompanied minors, or you could act as the adult in this situation. How old do you have to be to bring someone on a plane with you?Yes, I was riding planes all alone at the age of 9... unless its changed!
