What causes air turbulence when you fly in a plane?

Just wondering... I just got off a plane and it was kind of a bumpy ride! LOL!What causes air turbulence when you fly in a plane? It's many factors, like for example:

Air pressure

Wind

Temperatures

Monsters attacking the wings ;)

its just air currents, it happens because the plane is flying so fast from one current to another!!the jolt or shake of the plane is when the plane is crossing a barrier between different currents!!! its all normal!!What causes air turbulence when you fly in a plane? It is the rising heat and air currents occurring naturally in the atmosphere. The same updrafts and downdrafts you see birds using when they fly or gliders use and your passing through them at high speed. What causes air turbulence when you fly in a plane?
different currents of air going around the body of the plane and bumping it around a little bit. What causes air turbulence when you fly in a plane? The air at different temperatures is rising and falling. What causes air turbulence when you fly in a plane?
