How do I get on a plane with no drivers license?

I lost my i.d, I already understand that you can only get on a plane with a government issued I.D, i'm going out of town in a week and need some sort of immediate way toget on this plane. How do I get on a plane with no drivers license? If you're under 18, you don't need any ID for a wholly domestic flight in the US -- the TSA does not require passengers under the age of 18 to present any form of ID, according to the first link below.

If you are 18 years of age or older, then the TSA will request you to present one of the forms of ID listed on the second page linked below. If you don't have any of the other forms of ID, and you're unable to obtain one between now and the day you fly, you will need to go through additional screening at the checkpoint in order to fly.

Contrary to popular belief (as is echoed both in the question itself and the incorrect answer given by Keagan), passengers who are 18 or older who do not have or cannot present proper ID for a domestic flight aren't automatically denied boarding -- these passengers may still fly, as is clearly noted in that second link, so long as they go through additional security screening and identity verification at the checkpoint. In your case, if you don't have adquate ID in time, I'd make sure to show up earlier than you normally would in case you're asked to go through these procedures, so that you have enough time to go through the process and not miss your flight.

If your flight is an international flight, then you will be denied boarding without a passport (or other acceptable documents for flights between the US and Canada), without exception. How do I get on a plane with no drivers license?
Definitely a passport or passport card if you have one. Otherwise you'll have to go to the DMV and either get a replacement drivers license or get them to issue an ID. You're going to have to have your birth certificate for the DMV for photo ID. You cannot use a birth certificate for the plane it has to be a photo ID. See the link below for all the acceptable forms of ID:How do I get on a plane with no drivers license? This kind of thing happens a the time. You can try calling your airline and asking what they will accept. Bring credit cards, work I.D., etc. They WILL let you fly. They just need to check you a second time and talk to you. You will NOT be able to get past the security checkpoint if you do not have a valid form of ID. Since you lost yours, you will need to go to your local DMV and get a new one, or purchase a "state issued" ID for a small fee.

Good luck! How do I get on a plane with no drivers license?Do you have a passport? If so, that'll probably work.

If not, I know that -- as a minor -- having another adult with an I.D. might work. (Though I highly doubt it.)

And if nothing else, you can always try a birth certificate!
If you truly lost your id, you should be able to apply for a replacement right away. You will get a temporary id at the same time which is good for travel by air.How do I get on a plane with no drivers license?
Go to the nearest DMV and get a temporary card with photo. Take your birth certificate and social security card in case it is needed.

They invented this thing called a Passport. You should look into it.
