How old do you have to be to ride a plane alone?

I'm 17... I've never ridden a plane, maybe when I was a baby.. How old do you have to be to ride alone with no gaurdians?How old do you have to be to ride a plane alone?You can ride alone on a plane whenever you want i think.

There is a specific age where if you want to travel alone, you have to pay so a worker in the airplane/airport looks after you.

But after that you can choose to ride alone. I was about 14 when i went on a plane completely alone. and i do it almost every year alone. To go on a plane alone without anyone escorting you through the airport and leading you on and off the plane, you must be at least 12 years old. Kids ages 5-11 are allowed to fly by themselves but they are required to sign up for the unaccompanied minor service where someone walks with them through the airport, makes sure they get on the plane, and then takes them to their family after the plane lands.

You are considered OK to ride aloe above the age of 11 or 12. Before that time, the airplane companies would want your parents or legal guardians to sign a special form for you to go on the plane alone. By the time you're 17, they already consider you an adult.
