We are going to probably take carry ons instead of having to put them underneath. I want to know how strict they are about like makeup and razors and things like that. Also IDK what to call it but like the bag I put things in to do on the plane what can i take in that..Things like feminine needs and IPOD and my laptop. What all can i take. The TSA, which is the agency that creates and enforces these rules, states that any liquid items (including your nail polish and other liquid makeup) may be taken onboard the plane in your carry-on luggage so long as it meets the restrictions for liquids discussed in the first page below. The other thing you should keep in mind is that while your laptop and iPod are allowed, you're not permitted to use them at certain points on the plane. Typically, the usage of electronic devices is not allowed during taxi, takeoff, and landing, so if you want to use those items during the flight, you'll only be allowed to do so when the flight crew specifically says it's okay to use electronic devices.
