How can I avoid having to use the bathroom during a long plane trip?

Cincinnati to Paris ....I'm always in the window seat boxed in by sleeping parents and older sister sits in next row(shes in high school). I'm shy/embarrassed about having to make scene about going on the plane.How can I avoid having to use the bathroom during a long plane trip?Maybe try to switch with one of your parents to an aisle seat, don't go the flight without drinking liquids because it will make the flight more uncomfortable since the air in the aircraft is very dry. Well its a Long flight so is going to be hard not to go.



I would suggest you to drink Pepto bismol a couple of hours before you get on the plane and repeat the dosis every 3 hours and for sure you wont have to go potty for the rest of the flight.



Try to drink as less liquids are possible 2 hours before you get on the plane and make sure to to go the bathroom at least 45 minutes to get on the plane.



By using Pepto you wont potty but its not guaranteed you wont pee on the plane even if you reduce the amount of liquids that you drink.How can I avoid having to use the bathroom during a long plane trip?its pretty hard to not go on that long of a flight. although i did go from london to toronto and then home to the niagara falls/buffalo ny area without going and that included an at least 90 minute hold up on the bridge over niagara falls. i felt really sick so i didn't have anything to drink and just slept the ENTIRE flight. by the time i got home i had to pee like a race horse though.



really all i can suggest is don't eat or drink anything.

Dont be embarressed. If you gotta go, you gotta go. Just avoid drinking water and other things on the plane and avoid eating certain foods and you'll be fine.
