Can I carry onto the plane both my overnight bag which fits under the seat AND a suit Garment Bag?
I am almost 100% certain that I can carry onto the plane my overnight bag which comfortably fits under the seat in front of me, ALONG with a Garment Bag which will hold my suit and dress shirt? Everyone tells me that is allowed (one piece of luggage along with one other personal item), but I just want to make absolutely sure. Thanks. Can I carry onto the plane both my overnight bag which fits under the seat AND a suit Garment Bag?Yep, I just did this last week ! You can have one bag and one " personal item. "Can I carry onto the plane both my overnight bag which fits under the seat AND a suit Garment Bag?Darlene, it really varies from airline to airline. Most airlines allow just one piece of carry-on luggage along with a personal item like a handbag. That is why I carry a 21” expandable carry-on from Briggs and Riley ( http://www.briggs-riley.com/category/pro… ) , which comes with a tri-fold garment sleeve. The garment sleeve can easily hold up to two suits and can also be removed from the lid pocket if you want extra space. The bag meets carry-on regulations of most flights and I don’t think you should face any issues stowing it in the overhead compartment of the aircraft.
