The same movement and sensations. Or is it worse, or better? If you get air sick in a plane, is it also likely you'll get sick in the heli?Does flying in a helicopter feel the same as flying in a plane?i hate flying but love flying in a helicopter ! it is a different sensation . when you take off you tilt forward and landing is much smoother than a plane.
try and sit in the front you will love it

As already said, it's usually a little more unsteady and noticeably noisier. It's unlikely you'll be airsick, as you can see what's going on - that's usually what makes people queasy in a fixed wing aircraft, the movement when you can't see.
I've spent a lot of time in a Chinook, and can confirm that not for nothing is it known as the "shuddering sh1thouse". On the other hand the little Gazelle was like an enthusiastic ride in a sportscar. Great fun.Does flying in a helicopter feel the same as flying in a plane?A helicopter is a little more rockier and it tilts more. Also you have to wear a headset on most flights so that you can hear the pilot.
I love travelling in a helicopter - your all round vision is great. Mind you my heli flights were over New York on one occasion and over the Great Barrier Reef on another. I am doing the Grand Canyon next year!Does flying in a helicopter feel the same as flying in a plane?
Very different.More noisy and more movement. As long as you are looking outside and can see the movement you will not be sick. It is when your eyes do not confirm what your balance sensors, in your ears, are telling your brain. Our brains also receive info from the skin etc too.If the eyes do not confirm then HUGHIEEEEEEEEEEE!!!Does flying in a helicopter feel the same as flying in a plane?yes they can fly on the side and upside down
