My seat was way in the front and his in the back so we called the airline and they said they couldn't do anything that once we got to the airport and were checking in we should ask them if there was anyway we could be seated together luckily they were able to seat us together on the way over there and on the way back. I prefer to sit in the back of the plane, because it usually is far away from the infants and unaccompanied minors, who can be very annoying on a long flight.
