Is it correct to say that a plane is anchored at the airport? Can one use parked for aircraft?

I feel it would be inappropriate to say plane is parked at the airport but if I say plane is anchored at the airport I still don't think I am right because it actually is not anchored but just parked there. Obviously it is not standing there. Please advise possible options. Would appreciate very much.Is it correct to say that a plane is anchored at the airport? As you suggested "anchored" implies that the plane is tethered to something (like a boat is when it is anchored). Unless the airport is in an area of extreme weather conditions the aircraft would not need to be thethered.

However again, parked is correct. Is it correct to say that a plane is anchored at the airport? Can one use parked for aircraft?I would use parked. Anchored doesn't seem like an appropriate wording.
