I am flying from UK Lonon England to Canada and need to know what meat's I can bring with me on the plane.

I want to bring ready prepared and cooked chicken, But i don't know if i can bring it on the flight?UK to Canada flight: What meat can I board the plane with?Try to get on line to Canada Customs. For a list of food items not allowed into our country. Try the following sites:

www.cbsa.qc.ca or www.cities.es.qc.ca if these don't work, try www.canadacustoms.ca

I just went on line to check it out myself and there seems to be some restrictions with respect to meats and chicken. They also give you telephone numbers.

Hope this helps you. Have a great time in Canada.UK to Canada flight: What meat can I board the plane with?
Is this food to eat on the plane, or something in your luggage?

Eating on the plane is one thing, wanting to enter the country with food is another. Canada (I believe) will not allow any food brought in at all.

The safest way is to check with your airline and check with the Canadian Embassy.UK to Canada flight: What meat can I board the plane with?you can eat it on the plane but you can not bring meat products in to CanadaUK to Canada flight: What meat can I board the plane with?
I would say none at all. You may get into some hassle by trying to take meat on board.

If you have special dietary requirements, call the airline and they will prepare something specific for you.UK to Canada flight: What meat can I board the plane with? That unfortunately is hard to tell. All food products must be declared at customs before entering the country. Failure to do so could result in the food being confiscated and you being assessed fines.

Just declare it all, and they'll let you know what can and can't go through.

It's also a good idea to get in contact with the UK's division of transportation, and speak with them about air travel and meats.
