What type of fault has the displacement along the tilt of the fault plane?
What type of fault has the displacement along the tilt of the fault plane? What type of fault has the displacement along the tilt of the fault plane? It really is contingent on what you are truely asking. If by tilt you mean the Dip of the fault plane and by "along" you mean a vertical plane then the answer would be a normal fault (if the hanging wall moves upward) or a reverse fault (if the hanging wall moves downward). However, if what you meant to say was that the hanging wall travels horizontally in relation to the other fault block then you are dealing with a Strike Slip Fault. What type of fault has the displacement along the tilt of the fault plane?don't tilt the machine it will erase ur points
