When was the last time someone tried to smuggle explosives on a plane in the US?

The shoe bomber and underwear bomber boarded overseas and not in the USA where the TSA handles security. So when was the last time a person tried to take a bomb on to a plane in the USA?When was the last time someone tried to smuggle explosives on a plane in the US?So by implication you are saying TSA has done a good job..... that this "dog and pony" show we go through every time we go to the airport is working because no one was caught trying to smuggle a bomb on board a plane in America.... NOW if they caught someone that might be proof...... but merely because bombers have not tried proves nothing except possibly most "would be" bombers live outside America.....and / or explosives are easier to get overseas...TSA has never caught ANYONE

I trained people in counter-terrorism..... as a professional I am saying NONE of this airport BS would stop a trained terrorist..... no matter where he boarded....

There is no defense against a trained terrorist...... all this crap at the airport is to make YOU feel good



BTW The underwear bomber needed US Embassy help to get on the aircraft.... they were not going to let him fly.....
