How can I find a point on a plane other than the origin?

When I've got the plane equation, where d=0;

--%26gt; so ax+by+cz=0, essentially doesn't this mean all I have is the vector normal?How can I find a point on a plane other than the origin?a*x+b*y+c*z=0 is the equation of a plane.

It's normal vector is %26lt;a, b, c%26gt;

You can solve for z, make up any combination of x and y you want, and then simply substitute to find z.
