Have a great "virtual" flight!!!What information do cabin crew say when you are on a plane? They start off by asking you to read the safety card and take note of the brace position, then they show you the exits, then what to do if the masks drop, how to fit a life jacket which must not be inflated inside the aircraft. They advise that seat belts must be worn all the time and if the belt lights come in then THEY must be worn. Smoke alarms are fitted in the toilets, all transmitting devices must be switched off, if you have any problems then do not hesitate to contact the cabin crew. Enjoy your flight! What information do cabin crew say when you are on a plane?"Welcome aboard flight 123 with service to XYZ. My name is Ethan and I'll be the purser for your flight today. Please give us 3 minutes of your attention for the following safety announcement."
"Please remove the safety card and follow along as we demonstrate the safety features of this Boeing 737 aircraft. If you are seated in an exit row, you may be required to assist the crew in an emergency. If you are not willing or able to assist the crew, please advise a flight attendant at the end of this announcement.
To fasten your seatbelt low and tight across your lap, insert the metal fitting into the buckle. To release your seatbelt, lift the buckle flap. Your seatbelt must be fastened at all times when you are seated.
There are 4 exit doors, 2 on each side of the airplane. To open the doors, lift the handle in the direction of the arrow. Each door is equipped with a slide that inflates automatically. Jump into the slide with your legs in front of you, when you are on the ground, move away from the airplane. There are also 2 window exits located over the wings. Open the exit by pulling down on the marked handle.
Each exit is marked with a sign overhead. Look around to locate the two exits nearest your seat. In some cases, your nearest exit may be behind you. Exit path lights will help guide you to an exit.
Your seat bottom cushion can be used as flotation in a water landing. To use, remove the cushion from the seat, hug the cushion to your chest, and put your arms through the straps as shown on the safety card. (If it's an aircraft that has lifevests, then you would explain how to put the lifevest on, and inform the passengers not to inflate until AFTER they have exited the aircraft!)
If needed, oxygen masks will drop from above. Pull the mask toward to extend the plastic tubing. Place the mask over your nose and mouth, put the elastic band over your head and adjust the straps as needed. Put on your mask before helping others, and continue using until advised by a crewmember.
ABC airlines is a non-smoking airline. Federal law prohibits destroying, disabling or tampering with lavatory smoke detectors. Federal law also requires you to comply with all lighted signs, placards, and crewmember instructions.
Please make sure all carry-on items and tray tables are properly stowed, your seatback is in it's full upright position and your seatbelt is securely fastened. If an emergency evacuation becomes necessary, leave all carry-on items behind.
Flight attendants are now making their final safety checks, if you have any questions regarding safety, please ask a flight attendant.
On behalf of your entire crew we thank you for your attention, and we hope you enjoy your flight!"
Hope that helps!
