This question probably sounds really stupid, but in the airport I'll always find myself eating chips with a sandwich (salt %26amp; bread), or other foods that make me bloated and contribute to the "post-flight ugliness" that is already exacerbated by dehydration from lack of water, because who likes peeing on a plane? haha Any tips on how to stay fresh and feel energized after a flight? Thanks!!How can I look fresh and energized after a 4 hour plane flight?try to sleep during the flight and drink water.
keep hand sanitizer with you and you can stay clean with using the lavatory.
Pee at the end of the flight and freshen up at that time, on the plane.
schedule you flight connections so that you don't have to rush off the plane. Wait for everyone else to debark before you even get up out of your seat. How can I look fresh and energized after a 4 hour plane flight? The only thing I can think of is eating fruits and nutritious juicy veggies while on the flight instead of dehydrating salty crap. Its really not that hard to do and it tastes better than processed food anyway. You will get more nutrients which will make you more glowey, and you will be more hydrated. Try to take a little nap while on the plane if possible to refreshen your energy level. How can I look fresh and energized after a 4 hour plane flight? My secret has always been trail mix. The cool thing about the trail mix are the nuts fill you up with out it being overly salty. Plus the fruit pieces are a nice way to hold off your sweet tooth. I always bring some with me on the plane. It gives you a mini energy boost that is still healthy. So when you get off the plane you aren't tempted by the gauntlet of fast food.

What to wear and how to do my hair for a plane ride? What to bring?
Im going to be flying to New York City and I want to be comfortable but fashionable. How should I do my hair? What should I wear? What should I bring on the plane besides a book? I wanna still look cute but be comfy. What to wear and how to do my hair for a plane ride? What to bring?Hi,
You should pack most of your toiletries in your main bag, as you wont get through security with them.
Maybe you could pack.....

Note pad and pen

Hand wipes
Plasters and bandages
A small pillow

Passports and other documents.
HAVE A GREAT TRIP
Oh and if you wanna look nice, don't tie your hair up as it feels like a lump when you sit in the plane seat, maybe straighten your hair, and wear some sun glasses.
No-one will worry about what you look like, unless you look really messy.
Enjoy your holidayWhat to wear and how to do my hair for a plane ride? What to bring?
LOL you are on an airplane ride, no one you know or will ever see again is going to be there, so why does it matter?
Wear your hair however is most comfortable. If you have long hair, pull it into a low pony tail towards the side of your head so when you lean back you won't have that lump. This works with medium hair as well. If you must must must look cute for some odd reason, you can straighten your hair, use some kind of smoothing serum to make it like a very chic ponytail.
If you have short hair or pony tails aren't your thing just let it hang. Straighten it, crimp it, curl it, or leave it with its natural texture.
Personally, I just straighten my hair and throw it back with a headband.
Wear something loose and comfortable. Skinny jeans are a no-no. Shorts and t-shirt.
Bring your iPod as well. What to wear and how to do my hair for a plane ride? What to bring?Although I see women with their hair up every time I fly, I prefer to wear mine down so you don't have the a lump on the back of your her when you lean back in your seat. Wear comfortable, covered layers as it can be hot while you are waiting for take off and very cold once you are at high altitude. What to wear and how to do my hair for a plane ride? What to bring?
Are you serious?
Nobody is going to care what you look like, people are getting on a plane to fly somewhere not to walk on a cat walk. Jeesh. What to wear and how to do my hair for a plane ride? What to bring?abit of a stupid question, dont you think?

What is a good scanner to go plane spotting?
I am interested in airplanes and want to go plane spotting. I want to get a scanner so I can listen to the ATC and cockpit. I've had a look on the internet but there are loads and wanted some recommendations. Do the scanners work in any country as ill be working in Greece for 6 months? Also, whats the average signal range as my girlfriend said I might be able to listen to planes high in the sky too.
ThanksWhat is a good scanner to go plane spotting?I have a yutiperu scanner and its excellant it works in any country as long as you have the frequencies

How long is the Plane Ride from Helsinki, Finland to California?
I'm curious of how long the plane ride from Helsinki, Finland to Northern California would be? I can't find the answer anywhere else. How long is the Plane Ride from Helsinki, Finland to California?I flew from Helsinki to San Fransisco with only one 2 hour changeover in London. My trip took 14 hours. Then I flew from San Fransisco to Helsinki with a one hour changeover in Amsterdam. This trip took 13 hours. I flew to San Fransisco in the summer and it was easy to find a flight, but when I flew back to Helsinki it was around December and it was more difficult finding a flight. It all depends on which airport you land at, and what time of the year it is. I flew Finnair and British Airways. My best suggestion would be to visit their websites and try booking your flight.
www.finnair.fi (www.finnair.com for english)
Lykky盲 tyk枚!How long is the Plane Ride from Helsinki, Finland to California? The distance from Helsinki to San Francisco (as an example) is 5,707nm. Assuming an aircraft flies at 500mph, the journey time would be around 11 hours 25 minutes. Adding the extra time for taxiing - as all airlines do - a block flight time would likely be around 12 hours.
Unfortunately, Helsinki doesn't offer direct services to the west coast of America. Flights between there and cities in northern California would have to operate via New York, Boston or Toronto. They are the only north American destinations available.

Can i take back home with a plane my chinchilla?
I have been told that chinchillas should travel in a specific area of the plane,we dogs and other pets go.
Its not acceptable to have it with you in the plane-cabin.
So im afraid she will be scared down there (noise, cold, other pets) and maybe pass away too :(
What do you think? Can i take back home with a plane my chinchilla?Chins get shipped all the time. You have to have an approved shipping container, and only airlines that are equipped to ship them will approve them as cargo. For example, Continental has a climate controlled room where all their animals are shipped, whether they are exotics or just dogs and cats. Other airlines will ship chins, but only during specific times when the cargo hold is at a temperature that is safe for them. Extremes of cold and hot are not acceptable and they won't ship them. There are now also companies that only ship animals and are prepared for the specific needs of each of their clients. There are several different options for shipping.
I believe there is still one airline that will allow you to have your chin in the cabin with you, but either way, chins get shipped across the country all the time and they do great with it. I've heard of one or two times where the chin had issues, but that was because the owner didn't take proper precautions or the chin was just too young to be shipped (or sold at all, in my opinion).
You do not need to sedate your chin, and in fact I would highly advise against it. Anesthesia is incredibly hard on chins and sedatives are never used routinely. Your chin will end up sleeping through the trip, just like they do on long car rides. I've driven my chins up to 24 hours one way on a trip, and all they did was sleep and munch on a little hay. The airlines will let you know (if you ship cargo) what is required for the chin's comfort while being shipped.
Before you can take your chin on the plane, or ship him, you will need to get a health certificate from your vet, verifying that the chin is in good physical health. I highly doubt that your chin will die from the noise or other pets. Truly, they just sink down into sleep mode and wait until you remove them from their carriers.
If you have more questions regarding the care of your chin, or want to ask people who are experienced with shipping them, please visit http://www.chins-n-hedgies.com. Can you sneak a water bottle full of alcohol in your suitcase onto a plane?
If i were to put alcohol into a water bottle then check my bag (not take it with me on the plane) but put it under the plane...and they found the water bottle while searching my luggage what would they do? would they just throw it out or would they freak out?Can you sneak a water bottle full of alcohol in your suitcase onto a plane? They would not care as long as it was in your checked baggage. You can not bring in onto the aircraft itself.
I like what pagan dan said! Can you sneak a water bottle full of alcohol in your suitcase onto a plane?
Its against the law becareful with securitysome are nice and some have ATTITUDE from a
flight attendant frequent flyerCan you sneak a water bottle full of alcohol in your suitcase onto a plane? They would freak. They say that the risk of terrorist threats are kind of high right now, so they would probably think you were going to use it as some kind of detonation fluid, and fine you big time. It's not worth risking it.Can you sneak a water bottle full of alcohol in your suitcase onto a plane?
The 3 oz. for liquids rule only applies to carry on baggage. You can bring normal sized containers of liquid in your checked baggage. Can you sneak a water bottle full of alcohol in your suitcase onto a plane?Anyone who would ask a question like this isn't old enough to drink. Why would ANY mature and sensible and responsible adult want to help a minor to be in possession of alchohol?
You could be kicked off your flight. It isn't worth. It would be better to wrap the actual bottle in wrapping paper and stick it into your luggage and inform the security check person that it is there. A lot less trouble. Can you sneak a water bottle full of alcohol in your suitcase onto a plane?
Probably not. Liquids were restricted on planes (don't know if they still are).
P.S. If you can afford to drink, you can afford airline prices. Come on.
You can put alcohol into your bag if the bag is checked.
I can't see why you would want to hide it? Unless you are under age and crossing borders. Can you sneak a water bottle full of alcohol in your suitcase onto a plane?
yeah u acually can my mom does it all the time but she sneaks it in her hand luggage or u can just buy it in the airport but only if your going out of the country otherwise your not allowed
They would most likely freak out man their little scanner of theirs scans all dangerous such as alcohol as think u might be a bomber
They would throw it away and you can go maybe they will do more than that like fine you but im sure they will take it away and let you go.
No you can't you bags go through a scanner.
well they dont search the luggage....i mean maybe if there was a terrorist threat. but they wont detect that without looking in the bag, but they wont look in the bag anyways...

What is the best age to take a baby on a plane?
I am pregnant and plan to take my baby to see its family in Canada, so about an 8 hour flight.
What is the best age to take a baby on a plane? Preferable within the first year. What is the best age to take a baby on a plane?WHEN THEY ARE ITTTTTY BITTY, SO THEY SLEEP THE WHOLLEEE TIME!!!!
WE DID IT W/ OUR ONE YEAR OLD, YIKES...NOT SO EASY, AS THATS THE AGE THEY JUST WANT TO GO GO GO.
so i'd say anytime before 3mo nths. What is the best age to take a baby on a plane?
Check with your Pediatrician. It may be convenient to take the babe when it's super little, but that is also the biggest risk for a baby becoming sick. They have absolutely no immune system and are very vulnerable to illness. You may be better off waiting a couple of months and taking a red-eye flight or one during a normal nap time. What is the best age to take a baby on a plane?I'm 20 weeks pregnant and my 16 month old and I are flying home for Easter in 2 weeks. This will be his first plane trip and we have about 6-7 hour flight with a 1 hr layover. He's going to be sitting on my lap too. So I definitely have an adventure to look forward to.
I'm sure under a year old is probably the best age as they will probably sleep the whole time. As one poster said 3-5 months, I would assume is best as well. What is the best age to take a baby on a plane?
I've had all three of my kids on cross country flights at age 4 months or younger. They are far easier to travel with under 6 months. They sleep most of the time, and/or are just happy being held.
ETA- 1Proud, you may want to look into getting your 16 month old a seat. It will be very uncomfortable for you to have her on your lap for a trans-oceanic flight. What is the best age to take a baby on a plane?Between 3-5 months is the best time. Small babies are the easiest to travel with. They will sleep the entire flight. What is the best age to take a baby on a plane?
my sister flew from florida to were i live (about 2 hours) with her 3 month old.

Who Would You Have Replace On The Plane That Was Carrying Aaliyah When It Crashed?
It's been nearly 11 years since Aaliyah Passed away and I miss her so much. I always wished that it was someone else on that plane when it went down and that's my question to you. Who would you rather the plane be carrying when it crashed.Who Would You Have Replace On The Plane That Was Carrying Aaliyah When It Crashed?Either Beyonce, Rhianna, Jennifer Lopez or Mariah Carey. Even better, all of them, I like real soul music, not RADIO POP soul.Who Would You Have Replace On The Plane That Was Carrying Aaliyah When It Crashed? That's just mean, I wouldn't wish that on anybody
A plane flying with a constant speed of km/min passes over a ground radar station at an altitude of km and c
A plane flying with a constant speed of km/min passes over a ground radar station at an altitude of km and climbs at an angle of degrees. At what rate, in km/min is the distance from the plane to the radar station increasing minutes later?A plane flying with a constant speed of km/min passes over a ground radar station at an altitude of km and cIm sorry? I think you've missed some number out...A plane flying with a constant speed of km/min passes over a ground radar station at an altitude of km and cThis is a related rates (calculus) problem.
Draw the picture.
See the right triangle.
Label the three sides: The hypotenuse connects the station and the plane. The horizontal side is at the plane's altitude; its length is (x km/hr)(a hrs)(cos theta). The vertical side is directly above the station; it's length is the sum of the initial altitude (b km) plus (x km/hr)(a hrs)(sine theta).
The climb angle is theta.
The triangle is growing as the plane climbs. Each side is lengthening. You want to know the rate at which the hypotenuse is increasing. (D/dt hypotenuse).
Show the three sides as a Pythagorean relation.
hypotenuse虏 = horizontal side虏 + vertical side虏.
hypotenuse = 鈭?horizontal side虏 + vertical side虏).
D/dt hypotenuse = D/dt鈭?horizontal side虏 + vertical side虏).
Use IMPLICIT differentiation. Look at that chapter. Use the chain rule. Use the product rule. Be careful with signs of trig derivatives. Expand. Simplify.

What do I need to bring to charge a portable DVD player on a plane? Is there an adapter I can use?
I have a portable DVD player and I also have a 5 hour flight ahead of me and two toddlers who need to be occupied. Is there some kind of way to keep the player charged on the plane? I have a cigarette lighter charger for the car and a regular charger for a regular outlet, but is there something I cna use to keep it charged on the plane to keep "my people" occupied? Thanks! What do I need to bring to charge a portable DVD player on a plane? Is there an adapter I can use?Not on a plane. There is no power outlet for you to recharge batteries. Additionally, batteries do not recharge instantly, so your flight would be over before your player was recharged.
Your only option is to bring a second player along. Or do like parents did a few years ago before portable DVD players were invented. What do I need to bring to charge a portable DVD player on a plane? But I would call or go on the airlines website to make sure. Sometimes they only have 1 per row or if it's a fairly old plane, none at all.utah weather

How can u control a one-winged plane,( for example the xb-49),for yaw, the turning from side to side?
Usually on a normal plane it will have flaps on the tail to turn it but on a one-winged plane thats not possible because it has no tail its just one wingHow can u control a one-winged plane,( for example the xb-49),for yaw, the turning from side to side?wrong
the yaw control input is just used for stabilising the turn, rather than inducing it.
the initial control input to induce the turn is performed through ailerons.
the flying wings /b2, xb49/ use combined ailerons air brakes and flaps at either half of the wing to control the movement.
basically if you were to use the rudder of a common plane, the B2 would open the control surface of the wing "into" the turn so it would produce increased drag and immitate the function of rudder. How can u control a one-winged plane,( for example the xb-49),for yaw, the turning from side to side? Why not ask the famous plane designer who designed %26amp; flew all of those funny looking aicraft---Burt Rutan? basically if you were to use the rudder of a common plane, the B2 would open the control surface of the wing "into" the turn so it would produce increased drag and immitate the function of rudder. How can u control a one-winged plane,( for example the xb-49),for yaw, the turning from side to side? Why not ask the famous plane designer who designed %26amp; flew all of those funny looking aicraft---Burt Rutan? He could help ya, I bet. Good luck!

How do I adjust a metal wood plane?
I have an old metal wood plane that has recently been used and worked. Now that I have to plane a door....I can't seem to adjust it to cut. I guess I just have to fiddle with it. Any ideas? How do I adjust a metal wood plane? Most metal bodied wood planes have a wheel near the rear handle (under the blade) that controls the depth of cut. There may also be a "lateral lever" that controls left and right so it is even depth across the mouth (where the blade comes out.)
If you are hogging off wood, you can adjust by eye. If you are doing fine work, take a small piece of scrap and with the plane upside down, run it over the sole and across the blade. You will be able to hear and feel when it is adjusted evenly. How do I adjust a metal wood plane? What exactly are you trying to do and what particular problem are you having? What kind of plane do you have (Stanley #4 smoother, etc)? What kind of door are you working on (solid wood, hollow core, etc)? If, for example, you're trying to plane the top or bottom of a solid wood 6-panel door, the parts near the edge are end grain. Things that help plane end grain are a sharp iron, tight plane mouth, higher angle iron, and a small shaving. You're pretty much stuck with the angle you have, and your plane may not have an adjustable mouth, so make sure the iron is very sharp and that you're shaving off a small amount.

How much does a plane ticket cost for a dog?
My husband and i are military, and will be moving to Germany in a few months. The army pays for everything, EXCEPT our dog.....she is a lab, and will be 1 year old when we fly out. Does anyone have any idea how much her plane ticket is going to cost? My husband says if it's too expensive we have to give her away, and i can't stand the thought of that. Please, if you have any information it would be greatly appreciated. How much does a plane ticket cost for a dog?Depends on the airline. United charges $175 for a hard crate as checked baggage. When I called Delta about the same thing last summer, it was $550 from Germany to Colorado.
Check the airline you've been assigned to.How much does a plane ticket cost for a dog?
Well it depends on the airlines. It usually costs about $200-$350 to fly maybe more but at least that much. Also you have to have vaccinations up to date plus a health certificate about a week prior to travel. That's just a piece of paper say you have vaccinations up to date and that they are not sick. You also need the appropriate kennel for cargo shipment.
Usually you have to have a rabies vaccination at least 30 days prior to flying..
but if possible and your husband thinks it'll be too expensive then leave the dog with family or friends move to germany and save up for a few months then have the dog shipped through a pet carrier service. BUT that is the most expensive option, about $2000.00
Since you aren't moving immediately I'd say save up. It shouldn't cost more than $600 at most. But like I said check with the airlines and everything.
And I know how you feel about not wanting to give her up. I am moving to Korea to teach English and my mom is going to take care of my two dogs but I'm taking my cat. I just can't afford to fly three animals half way around the world! How much does a plane ticket cost for a dog?hi you
i dont know of the cost to you but your dog will be place in the cargo hold of the plane in a dog box once the pilot once he knows there is a dog in the cargo hold will let the heating on in thereHow much does a plane ticket cost for a dog?
i'm sure it would be less than $1000

Can reverse thrust work to prevent a plane crash?
say if there's engine problem, out of fuel, plane going out of control, etc.
if there's a powerful reverse thrust or a nuclear boom in the opposite direction to stunt the drop, can it slow down the plane enough to cause less damage and prevent a total loss crash? Can reverse thrust work to prevent a plane crash?Yes if a plane is about to hit the ground but then suddenly a nuclear bomb goes off right in front of them. all the passengers and the plane will be perfectly fine...
(that was sarcastic)
No say you put engines facing the opposite direction it would do absolutly nothing.
1. Most plane engines only work when you are moving (in the correct direction). otherwise no air gets into the turbines so no reverse thrust.
2. A plane weighs A LOT, its weight is unimaginable, have you seen how long it takes for a passenger plane to take off? Imagine how long it would take to take off when it was travelling at 1000km/h in the opposite direction AND in the opposite direction to gravity. Can reverse thrust work to prevent a plane crash?
No, reverse thrust would not be useful to prevent or lessen the effects of a crash. Many aircraft either do not have reverse thrust or cannot use it in the air, anyway.
The best way to prevent serious consequences in an accident is to keep the airplane under positive control until it touches down, and make sure it lands in an area that is as smooth and flat as possible, so that it doesn't hit anything while landing. Can reverse thrust work to prevent a plane crash? All Reversers do not operate on flight because one of the logic to activate reversers are the ground or to explain it a ground proximity switch connected in the oleo strut of the landing gear will be compressed as soon as it touches the ground the switch would then be near with its target and it will allow the deployment of the reversers.
If reversers operate in flight there is something wrong with the reversers itself. That is why some like Boeing have a secondary lock to prevent inadvertent deployment in flight. The A340 has even added a 3rd lock to prevent this from happening. Can reverse thrust work to prevent a plane crash?
No. Reverse thrust is only used to help slow an aircraft down after landing, to help the brakes. Using it in flight would almost certainly cause, not prevent, a crash. Can reverse thrust work to prevent a plane crash?the trust reversers only work if the engines are producing thrust,ie running ,so they would be usless if the plane wasn out of fuel. also most jet wont let u deploy the thrust reversers in flight .Can reverse thrust work to prevent a plane crash?
No. It wouldn't work. It would make matters worse.

What kind of things would i need to make a mimn plane?
If i wanted to make a type of small plane that inclued an egine (or not), that could fly and carry some wait, what kind of materal would i use to make it, and how much do you think it might cost? What kind of things would i need to make a mimn plane?for about 200 you could make an aluminum frame with an electric engine and canvas over the wings. you may want to soak the canvas in alum to make it more rigid and a bit stronger. the prop you will need to buy. don't try to make one it can rip apart and you will lose the plane and send sharp objects flying at high speed everywhere.
duct tape and PVC work too. just get a strong engine. What kind of things would i need to make a mimn plane? Not really an airplane.
but for about 100.00 a lawn chair, large weather ballons filled with helium, a six pack of beer, and pellet gun..

How do I get a blind 7 year old on a plane?
My son is blind and scared to get on plane. Airlines will not let him take his cain(which is so wrong, that's like taking someone glasses.) He's in tears when we talk about it. What should I do? Should I fight the airlines about letting him use the cain? How do I get a blind 7 year old on a plane? It's true. If you fly with an American company, the cane is allowed. I used to be a Flight Attendant and our blind passengers had canes and sometimes their dogs, which were exempt from most animal restrictions around the world.
The cane had to be inspected and had to be stowed on the floor but they brought them.
http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/s鈥?/a>
If you're flying a non-U.S. company and this is what their rules are, ask about a collapsible cane.
Also, who told you that the cane wasn't allowed? Perhaps a revs agent who was new and didn't bother to look up the rules just spouted that out.
Is your son scared of actually flying or is the whole leaving home issue to blame? He might have a form of agoraphobia, which would be something a blind person could easily acquire.
Usually, it's believed agoraphobic people don't leave the house but that's the extreme form and there are many levels. My mom has it with very long distances, like overseas but can fly to the other coast without a hitch and she's used to flying. Everyone blames that and it's hard to explain that she has no problem with planes.
Find out what the root of his fear is exactly and work from there. If he does have a problem with flying itself, see if you can do a class together at your closest airport. At least find out if your son can somehow visit an aircraft and see what it's like.
For safety, I used to give our blind customers the emergency equipment to feel so they were familiar with it. I also made sure they knew how many rows there were to their nearest emergency exit. I had one man who had been through a whole course, specifically for the seeing impaired and he knew everything.
Contact a local organization for the seeing impaired in your area and find out exactly what's available and what your son's rights are. Flying is safe and most children his age really love the experience. If you can get him onboard, I'm sure he'll be fine. A few children were nervous at the beginning but most end up enjoying the experience and get over it quickly.
China will be good for your son, with such a different environment. I hope you're able to manage it.
Good luck! How do I get a blind 7 year old on a plane? If you don't have to take a plane, then drive. Otherwise, hold his hand when you are walking to the plane. Explain what is going on and tell him that it will be okay. I think that the airlines should let him use a cane, but they are very strict about security after 9/11.
While you are walking to the plane, you could also make up a story about a boy on an adventure. Get his mind on other things. When you both are on the plane flying, tell him that he is like superman or a superhero. How do I get a blind 7 year old on a plane?you could very well fight cause that is wrong! U could also hold his hand or carry him and tell him what is going on and what is around! I think it would be cool if u got a toy plain ( playmoble) and kind of let him feel It to give him the whole picture and if u can when walking on the plane kind of show him on the toy plane where u r and let him feel it. My little brothers were frightened there first time on a plane and we had ideas so feel free to e mail me for any others !!

The cane IS very specifically allowed under the TSA rules for travellers with disabilities. Whoever told you that it could not be taken was quite istaken. See site below and read the list of equipment that is allowed. Could you take him to the airport a couple of times , just to get the feel of it. Is there an air museu or small airport you could visit so he could sit on a plane before you have to travel? I do hope you can find ways to make him more comfortable and help him enjoy the flight.

What do you do to keep sane on a very long plane journey?
Planning a trip to a paradise island at end of year. Never been on a plane journey longer than 3 hrs. Worried i might go nuts on 26hr flight. Is alcohol and sedatives a good idea? What do you do to keep sane on a very long plane journey?I hope you're joking. Alcohol is a terrible idea. You will feel like hell.
I'm lucky. I just take a wrap and go to sleep. Wake up, eat, sleep, wake up, eat, sleep. Other than that, magazines, books, mp3. Not much else you can do really.
EDIT: Just make sure you get up every 4 hours and move around the cabin. Also, wriggle your feet and stretch when you are sitting. Alcohol increases the risk of DVT.What do you do to keep sane on a very long plane journey?Try not to drink any alcohol it dehydrates you and you may want to take something that will relax you during that flight . I do travel to Indonesia from Detroit and I do take take a relaxer prescribe by physician . I would definitely talk with your doctor and express your concerns over this flight . Have a great day and enjoy your vacation .What do you do to keep sane on a very long plane journey?DONT TRY ALCOHOL,
U CAN TRY SLEEPING ALL THE WAY THROUGH.
AND WHEN YOU WAKE UP
EAT AND SLEEP,
AND READ MAGAZINES,
AND DO WHATEVER YOU CAN TO BE DISTRACTED
-GOOD LUCK.What do you do to keep sane on a very long plane journey?
I agree with the other person.
Alcohol might be the stupidest thing you can do on a
LONG plane trip.
You'll obviously get sick.
You can bring magazines, books, your labtop, music player,
portable dvd player, etc.
They usually play a movie for you so you can also
watch that.

and it really isn't too bad..
They usually play a movie for you so you can also
watch that.

How to reserve a plane seat online?
I've already paid for an economy seat ticket for Kuwait Airways. Could you please tell me how can I reserve a seat online so that I will get the best seat rather than taking the leftover seats and end up sitting near lavatory or other least wanted areas on a plane. Please please help me! Thank you!How to reserve a plane seat online? You can only reserve a seat on line if you booked and paid on line.
It also depends on the airline because most economy seats are not pre-bookable.
Your best bet is to get to the airport in plenty of time, then it will be 'first come first served' for the economy seats. How to reserve a plane seat online?Hi usually you have a choice when booking to reserve your seat for example you have this opportunity on Emirates. If not go to www.seatguru.com and even if your required carrier isn't on there, as long as you know what your flying on for e.g. boeing 747, you can have an idea of what seat number you could ask for when actually at the check in desk. Hope that helps. How to reserve a plane seat online?Look below

How old do u have to be to get on a plane?
Me and my friends want to go out to miami for vacation but we are 16 years old. Does anybody kno if we can go on the plane alone? How old do u have to be to get on a plane?Children under the age of 14 have to have special provisions made to travel as unaccompanied minors. If you were my 16 year old you wouldn't be traveling to Miami or anywhere else without adult supervision. A group of 16 year olds traveling alone to a large city is just asking for trouble-there are too many perverts and freaks out in the world these days. How old do u have to be to get on a plane?
Yes...you need to call the specific airline and ask their policies. The website below lists the guidelines for United Airlines, but each airline is different. However, there are restrictions on hotels rooms..many hotels will not register anyone under 21 years of age without an accompanying adult. Also, of course, your parents are going to have something to say about this! How old do u have to be to get on a plane?Yes, you can. My friend has been flying back and forth from SF to New Jersey solo since she was 11 (her parents are divorced so she travels to see them). You probably need some kid of permission letter or something. How old do u have to be to get on a plane?

with a consent letter from parent/guardian, only if the airline ask for it.

Any ideas on how to transport 3 days of breastmilk by plane?
My husband and I are going on vacation for 3 days w/o our 6 mo old son (he will be w Grandma) and I of course will be pumping. I don't want to toss all the milk but am not sure how to store and transport via plane w/o access to a freezer. Any ideas?Any ideas on how to transport 3 days of breastmilk by plane?Find an ice house where you are going and stock up on dry ice. I don't know how long dry ice lasts, but you may have to make multiple purchases. Take a large cooler, packing tape, and milk storage bags with you. When it is time to go home, seal the cooler with the packing tape and check it with your luggage.Any ideas on how to transport 3 days of breastmilk by plane?
My friend used a small cooler...or a lunch box and small ice packs.Any ideas on how to transport 3 days of breastmilk by plane?I would check with the airline, they have a tight wrap on liquids right now. My SIL couldn't even bring bottles of baby lotion or shampoo when they flew unless they were less then a certain amount of ounces.Any ideas on how to transport 3 days of breastmilk by plane?
Don't bother. By the time you transport it you will be home, unless you send it next day air (Styrofoam box with dry ice pack, just like you transport food) which will cost you an arm and a leg (think 40 dollars per package depending on where you are vacationing).
I do have a suggestion. Pump now and freeze it. Frozen breast milk can last for 3-6 months roughly (And I know your not staying that long...lol) so just feed the baby then pump a little more for the freezer and store it. I had to do this for a little while when my girlie was in the nicu (preemie). It really just may make sense for you to pump and toss while your on vaca.
Edit: You know what? I wasn't thinking of you saying bring it home, I was thinking ship it home. You could just freeze it in your hotel/lodging freezer until you are ready to go home then use a small cooler with an ice pack (again depending on how long your flight is). It should stay frozen for a while.Any ideas on how to transport 3 days of breastmilk by plane?I might just toss it because it seems like it would be a hassle to get it through security, especially if you don't have a baby with you.
You can always make more. :-)

"All food must go through the X-ray machine. Do NOT bring food to the security checkpoint unwrapped,...
Food must be wrapped or in a container. Unpeeled natural foods like fruit are okay, but half-eaten fruits must be wrapped."
So, make sure they are still wrapped or in a container, and inside your carry-on luggage. As for liquids, some beverages can be brought onto a plane, such as those required for special needs individuals (e.g. baby formula, sugar-free beverage for a diabetic senior citizen, et cetera)Can you bring outside food into an airport and on the plane? All food must be wrapped, unless it has peels (like a banana).
Dont bring food that have a strong odor, as the people areound you might be giving you strange looks .

How fast can a plane go when dropping package?
i need to know how fast and high a plane can go before it reaches the danger level for flying too fast or too high with it's cargo doors open.Need quick answers doing project nowHow fast can a plane go when dropping package? That depends greatly on the type of aircraft in question... you would need to find an ex-Air Force pilot for that answer... I would guess the doors are built to stay in tact at the max operating speed of the airplane... at least on the bombers... i dont know about the fighters...How fast can a plane go when dropping package?
I would say to look up the specs for a C-130.How fast can a plane go when dropping package?USCG Flacon will drop a pump/inflatable boats and other things at about 250 Knts and about 50 Ft up, other wise they payload wil not land where they want. Idealy they drop them about 50 feet down wild and there is a line that is dropped over the target vestle so thsy can pull what ever was dropped.
However Bombers relice there payload going balls to the wall up to 60 Thousand ft.How fast can a plane go when dropping package?
Depends on the type of aircraft. Each aircraft is designed differently depending on the type. A B-1 can drop its payload at speeds considerably faster than a C-130 can. You need to find out how fast the aircraft can go with its cargo/bomb bay doors are opened, before they start to overspeed the doors. How fast can a plane go when dropping package? When dropping a payload out of a cargo aircraft there are two things to consider. First thing is the structural integrity of the aircraft. That is how much stress is exerted on the airframe in the airdrop configuration. Second thing to consider is what are you dropping. The normal drop indicated airspeed for a C-130 is somewhere around 150 knots or so and that is based on the type of parachute attached to the cargo to be dropped. Some not all C-130's can drop cargo in excess of 200 knots indicated. I have also flown aerial tanker fire retardant airdrops in a C-130 where our air drop speed is close to stall speeds of 120 knots indicated. I have flown on HALO airdrops WELL above 10,000Ft. At those altitudes the entire aircrew and jumpers are all on Oxygen. How fast can a plane go when dropping package?

I need good anniversary surprise ideas that can happen in a plane?
My family is going on a vacation soon and we are flying back on my parents' anniversary. I want to give them a surprise by doing something special on the plane. Any ideas? What to do with plane tickets with wrong date?
I realized that I purchased my plane tickets with the wrong departure date. So, my husband will be traveling the day before me and my daughter. I will have to pay $180 in fees to cancel the departure flight. I will have to purchase more tickets for around $450 in order to leave on the day that I want with my husband. My 5 year old daughter will be flying for the first time and her dad is leaving the day before us. Is it worth it to just spend the money for new tickets so that we can fly with my husband as a family? What to do with plane tickets with wrong date?Did you actually call the airline and check with them about changing this? I did something very similar, and called the airline directly to explain the situation and they were able to accomodate me at not additional charge. If you maybe try to explain the error, they might be able to help you. If the rep you get can't help you, you might ask to speak to a manager and tell them your situation. Good luck!!!What to do with plane tickets with wrong date?

The others are right. It totally depends whether you purchased your tickets thru the internet, a travel agent or directly with the airline. Actually, some airlines don't allow internet-fares to be rebooked. Or if they do, the price ends up with you like buying a whole new ticket. The best thing to do is contact the agent where you got your tickets, explain the situation. They usually contact the airline directly and give a sob story (I get these calls at our airline a lot of times!). They sometimes get their way, they sometimes don't. It all depends on the fare rules of the fare basis/booking class/ticket type that you bought. The restrictions on rebooking (date changes, etc) are reflected on the endorsements box and the airlines always stick to that. Good luck! What to do with plane tickets with wrong date?I have an idea you purchased your tickets via the internet?

no, and that way you will have someone to greet you when you arriveWhat to do with plane tickets with wrong date?
I would suggest you contact the airline or travel agency that you booked the tickets with. They can more often than not change the tickets for you for no charge (or a nominal fee) depending on what time of ticket class your purchased.
Explain to the agent what your problem is and be extremely gentle and apologetic. If they won't change it or you don't want to spend the money, make it an "mommy" adventure for you and your daughter.
Good luck and have a great trip!

It took about 12 hours because the plane didn't fly over Russia since the weather was bad. It should take around 10-11 hours for you I think. And for the time zones I have no idea since I just changed it on my phone by just picking the cities. The pilot should tell you though after you land. How long does it take for a plane from Vancouver to Hunan, China?15 hrsharry potter games online
What is best private plane for world travel?
I'll come into a little money and may be able to buy a private plane and hire a good pilot. Would like to have the plane travel over oceans, so because of the fact, due to fuel requirements does it have to be a small jet vs. propeller type plane? Cost still is a consideration so that's why I'm considering non-jet options, and perhap smaller planes can land at more airports, tried googling it but haven't found info I needed so if anyone includes links let me know. Thanks to all. What is best private plane for world travel? If you have about $50 million, and several tens of millions more to operate and maintain it, then a Boeing Business Jet is one of the best aircraft for the job. However...
Before you start considering aircraft, you need to decide what you really want it to do for you. For instance, how many people do you expect to be traveling with you, on average? What is the longest distance you would need to fly non-stop? What kind of airports do you intend to fly to and what would the shortest runway length be? Do you require something with a cabin you can stand up in, or will something smaller do? Do you want an enclosed toilet or will a "potty seat" and a curtain suffice? Once you have these basic items decided, then you can begin to consider which airplanes are within your budget that are suitable for your "mission profile" as we like to call it in this industry.
Small jets are very expensive, and even turboprops are a multi-million dollar proposition unless you buy an old one. All such aircraft are very expensive to operate, maintain and insure, and experienced flight crews do not come cheap. Turboprops are far cheaper than jets in all these categories, however. There really arent many piston-engine aircraft worthy of consideration, at least for trans-oceanic flight. Having spent the last three years as a corporate pilot in charge of a flight department I know how expensive it can be to operate, maintain and crew an airplane. If you're going to inherit money, I hope it's in the tens of millions of dollars because if it is less than that your options are going to be severely limited. A top of the line turboprop costs $4M to $5M new and a decent used one is about $1M - $3M, although some older models can be had for under $1M. A top of the line private jet capable of global operations costs over $20M new. An older one of these globe-trotters that is near to engine overhaul will cost in the vacinity of $5M. A smaller jet with shorter range and marginal global capability can be purchase new for around $6M used for as little as $1.5M. Nobne of the Very Light Jets (VLJ's) have the range you would need.
While a lot of older used aircraft can be purchsed for a lot less money than newer ones but maintenance costs are often very high on such aircraft. As I mentioned crews are not cheap, and the majority of aircraft in this category require two pilots, either as a legal requirement or as an insurance requirement. If you want a full-time crew it is going to be expensive, and finding a part-time crew that is flexible enough to accommodate your schedule is difficult. There are also yearly crew training costs to consider, which is required by all insurance companies. A few of the VLJ's and many of the turboprop aircraft are certified and insurable for single-pilot operation.
If you do not need the speed of a jet, and depending on your budget, there are a few turboprop aircraft that I can recommend that would be usable for international travel, comfortable to ride in on long flights, and are far cheaper to buy, operate and maintain than a jet. You'll have to EM me for more info. What is best private plane for world travel?

Just about any type of aircraft can be used for private travel. It just depends on your budget.
If you plan to travel over oceans, you'll need an aircraft with lots of range, and preferably with jet engines, since jets are more reliable and faster. This means at least a small business jet, and prices for those (new) are always in the seven-figure range, minimum. For long trips, you'll also probably want a proper toilet on board, which raises the price further because the smallest jets aren't equipped with toilets, or have very primitive toilet facilities. At the same time you will also get a small galley with a refrigerator, which can be handy for taking something along to eat.
Above a certain size, you'll need two pilots, not one, and unless you fly very rarely and plan far in advance, you'll need more than two so that you can give your pilots vacations.
You don't want anything with a piston engine if you're flying across oceans. You'll want jets (or turboprops) for reliability and speed.
But you may not need a private plane at all. Look into fractional ownership operators like NetJets. With those, you pay for part of an airplane of a specific type, and you can fly anywhere you want with 4 hours notice, using any airplane in the fleet that is of the type that you've purchased fractional ownership in. These companies are an excellent compromise between the nightmare of commercial air travel on public airlines and the huge expense of having a private plane reserved for yourself alone. You can generally invest in anything from high-performance props to Boeing Business Jets, depending on how much you want to pay. In addition to paying for part ownership, you also pay operating costs for each flight, but it's still way cheaper than owning and operating your own plane. What is best private plane for world travel?Well, I'm sorry to say that for transcontinental travel, you may need to buy a multi-million dollar jet. The cheapest one that I could find after some research was a Boeing 737 BBJ (Boeing Business Jet). If you buy it used, you might be able to find it for about $44,000,000. New ones cost upward of 100 million dollars. You could try other companies like Bombardier, (they have CRJs that have fairly good range, but are not too expensive, and they also have Learjets) or maybe you could consider buying an A318 or something. All of these options cost upwards of $10,000,000. You will definitely need a jet, as those tend to have longer range unless you want to buy a Bombardier Dash 8. There are multiple types of those for different needs. Those are turboprops. I do have one thing that I usually say: "The bigger the jet, usually the faster the plane." I don't know what amount of money you have run into, but you may need over 60 million dollars to have a plane that will fly nonstop across the Atlantic to buy and furnish it. You are very lucky, as I hope to grow up, make some money, and also buy a plane, except I'd like to buy a larger plane like an Airbus A330 or A340 or Boeing 787 so I can have my own sort of a "flying palace". I would hire a copilot, but I would be the pilot as I am very interested in flying. I would get "megalux" interior design, and I would occasionally go to the cabin to hang out with my family during long flights. I wish you the best of luck, and I hope that you are able to purchase the type of airplane that best fits your needs. Most of all, though, have fun!

How old do you have to be to ride a plane alone?
I'm 17... I've never ridden a plane, maybe when I was a baby.. How old do you have to be to ride alone with no gaurdians? How old do you have to be to ride a plane alone? You can ride alone on a plane whenever you want i think.
There is a specific age where if you want to travel alone, you have to pay so a worker in the airplane/airport looks after you.
But after that you can choose to ride alone. I was about 14 when i went on a plane completely alone. and i do it almost every year alone. So i am sure you can ride alone if you choose, without any guardians. just buy your ticket and go have a great plane ride, it is very fun :) Good luck. How old do you have to be to ride a plane alone?
To go on a plane alone without anyone escorting you through the airport and leading you on and off the plane, you must be at least 12 years old. Kids ages 5-11 are allowed to fly by themselves but they are required to sign up for the unaccompanied minor service where someone walks with them through the airport, makes sure they get on the plane, and then takes them to their family after the plane lands.
So, you are definitely old enough to fly alone at 17. Unaccompanied minor service is still available to someone your age, but not required. How old do you have to be to ride a plane alone?you can be any age really, if you are young enough your parents can assign an air hostess or air host for you. they are very nice. i am fourteen and i went to Alaska all by myself last summer but with an air hostess since my parents were so worried.
in general to be alone with no guardians you have to be at an age of 18 or older so i would say that if you would have been 18 you could be alone. but even though you are 17, you could still be alone cuz i would say you are mature. How old do you have to be to ride a plane alone?
You are considered OK to ride aloe above the age of 11 or 12. Before that time, the airplane companies would want your parents or legal guardians to sign a special form for you to go on the plane alone. By the time you're 17, they already consider you an adult. Nothing to worry about :)How old do you have to be to ride a plane alone? You can go on your own at 17. I went to FLA in 09 when I was 16 by myself. You can pay for a person to go with you.

I can i help my children feel confident when the plane takes off?
My children have been on a plane once and they were both scared of taking off. They cried their eyes out. What can I do to make them feel a little more confident?I can i help my children feel confident when the plane takes off?well all you have to do is not to let them concentrate when the plan takes off just do something that crabs their attention then paying attention when will plane takes off like let them listen to music or watch cartoons or do watch movies or talk to them and make them happy.. so when all most their attentions are somewhere else they wont really feel scared when planes take off.I can i help my children feel confident when the plane takes off?

What is the biggest size of dog usually allowed to ride in cabin with you on a plane?
I know little dogs can ride with you on a plane, what about a German Shepherd sized dog? Do dogs have to be restrained always when they ride with you? I know they will probably be leashed of course, but I mean crate/dog purse/carrier all the time?
Also I just thought of this, how does your dog go potty on long flights, whether they are in cabin or in cargo? Are they expected to go in their crates? What is the biggest size of dog usually allowed to ride in cabin with you on a plane?Only small breed dogs that fit into a carrier that can fit under the seat in front of you are allowed in the cabin area of a plane. A GSD would be required to be flown in a crate in cargo. During the summer months they will not fly him as it's too hot.
PetAir flys dogs in crates in the cabin, big and small but they are limited in the areas they fly to.
If it's a long flight then yes, a dog will have no choice but to go in it's crate. What is the biggest size of dog usually allowed to ride in cabin with you on a plane?
You didn't mention you'd be taking him to England, I advise that you do not take him to England, you will need to obtain a pet passport, have rabies updated, health certification and a blood test done all within three months prior to flying. Leave him at home or he'll be quarantined.
If the dog cannot hold it, then they have to pee in the crate. It's a good idea to have shredded newspaper in the bottom of the crate to absorb. What is the biggest size of dog usually allowed to ride in cabin with you on a plane?
They have to be small enough where they (in their carrier) have to fit under the seat in front of you. Yes, they have to be confined for the duration of the flight.

What is the biggest size of dog usually allowed to ride in cabin with you on a plane? The dog must remain in its crate. The crate needs to fit under the seat, just like carry-ons. To stand comfortably in such a small crate, the dog shouldn't be more than about 10 inches tall at the withers. If the dog cannot hold it, then they have to pee in the crate. How do i get the simplified vector from 3 dimension plane?
How do you get the vector from a 3d plane? According to my physics book its just like getting the vector for 2 dimensions. However, I don't quite understand it myself. Do you get the vectors of XY, YZ and ZX, then get the vector between XY and YZ and YZ and ZX and then get the vector between their results? How do i get the simplified vector from 3 dimension plane?for 3 dimension X,Y,Z you must also calculate the time to see real results. How do i get the simplified vector from 3 dimension plane?Yes. The net force is the sum of force vectors A + B + C.
One method of determining the vector sum of these three forces (i.e., the net force") is to employ the method of head-to-tail addition. In this method, an accurately drawn scaled diagram is used and each individual vector is drawn to scale. Where the head of one vector ends, the tail of the next vector begins. Once all vectors are added, the resultant (i.e., the vector sum) can be determined by drawing a vector from the tail of the first vector to the head of the last vector.

What to bring to entertain a 1year old on a plane?
I am traveling on a 2hr plane right with my almost 1 year old next month. I'm looking for a couple of toys that I could bring with me to keep her entertained but that also don't take up a ton of space in a backpack or some sort of bag. Any suggestions?!? Thanks in advance. What to bring to entertain a 1year old on a plane?I was watching an episode of the Doctor's recently. They recommended if you're taking a small child on a plane. To get a few new toys, gift wrap them. And then every so often, depending on the length of the plane ride, let them open a new one-to prevent boredom and fussiness. So,since your plane ride is pretty short, you may not need any more than two-three small toys at most. I would stick with toys that aren't really noisy. Just colorful and have quite a few functions. What to bring to entertain a 1year old on a plane?
I agree with some of the other answers, I would not bring any toys that make noises. I would definitely bring a portable dvd player and her favorite movie/dvd. Then I would buy 1 new dvd that I think she would like. Bring along her favorite stuffed animal or doll, maybe she will nap. I would also buy 1 or 2 new "lift the flap" books which are great for that age.
if she likes to build...maybe bring a few blocks that she can build with on her seat tray
if she likes to write/draw...for my kids a small pad of paper and a kookie pen work well no matter where we are...they like writing in the pad better than coloring in coloring books
if she likes stickers they are great...lots of fun to put on paper...on Mommy...on other passengers if they are good sports...
2 hours is not too long. you will make it through.
have fun! What to bring to entertain a 1year old on a plane?something to tinker with, that doesnt have a lot of pieces, some food for her to snack on, try not to bring anything too loud, as to not disturb other passengers, picture and coloring books, leapsters are awesome! my little brothers have had them since they were 2, idk if a 1 year old would understand it, but you can get them at target. very entertaining. What to bring to entertain a 1year old on a plane?
I would suggest the Invisible Marker or Paint with Water coloring books. Both are easy to carry around in a backpack, all you need is water (which you can get on the plane). They keep my nieces and nephews entertained for quite some time. What to bring to entertain a 1year old on a plane? You should bring interactive toys such as picture books something that makes noise something with textures something the baby enjoys playing with allot and something knowledgeable that can teach something

Stickers and paper. That kept my daughter busy on a transatlantic flight! A good place to find cheap stickers is in the $1 section at Target. A few books to read, and a coloring book and crayons. Good luck!
colouring book, crayons, a few books with press buttons that make noise and her favourite teddy, maybe bring some jellies and make it into a game also? What to bring to entertain a 1year old on a plane?

How do I ensure that I can get off a plane first?
I have a short layover and want to know if there is anything I can do to get off the plane first so I can catch my next flight. Can I talk to the flight attendent or do I just have to wait my turn? How do I ensure that I can get off a plane first? All you can do is get a seat in the FRONT of the plane.
You cant talk to a flight attendant, they wont tell everyone else to stay in their seat so you can get off first.... also, there are others that have a short layover as well.
And it also seams that a lot of people have never been on an airplane before... so this his how it works. You land, you taxi, and as soon as people hear the engines turn off, they are standing in the isle waiting for the jetway to connect and the door to open... there is no controlling the mob of people who want to get the hell off the cramped plane. So go online, choose a seat in the FRONT of the plane, and you will be the first (or almost first) off.
I have had 20 minute layovers with no problem, so I would not be to worried about it. Airlines generally book flights with enough time for layovers... and the only time there is an issue is with International layovers, where you have to clear Immigration and Customs.
So... unless that is the case, you will make it.How do I ensure that I can get off a plane first?

So if you flight lands on time you should not have a problem. Also, be aware that some airlines print the boarding time on your boarding pass, NOT the departure time. That throws a lot of people off. So look closely and make sure that the time you are looking at for your connecting flight is the actual departure time, not just the boarding time, which can be as much as 30 minutes prior to departure. As for getting off the plane first, forget it. Only way that will happen is if you're seated in the first row. Sorry, but that's the way it works. How do I ensure that I can get off a plane first?
There is no way to "ensure" you get off a plane first. You can ask when you purchase your ticket for a spot up front, but there is no guarantee that you will be accommodated. If you're lucky a flight attendant will give you a break, but if they do they will be breaking the rules. They don't know that you really have a short lay over, and they also don't know if anyone else does. They are not allowed to show any favoritism, because it is a good way to get sued. In most cases, you'll just have to wait your turn. It happens. How do I ensure that I can get off a plane first?Be the first in line to board, after handicapped and children so that you can sit up front in their section.

Sit in the front row. Reserve your seat online, If not talk with the attendat.
There's nothing stopping you explaining your problem to the flight attendant. Whether they'll help you depends on a number of things, e.g.
- if when you booked your ticket (especially if you used an agent) it was stated to be a recognised connection;
- if both flights are with the same airline;
- if you've paid a lot for your ticket (first and business class people get the jump on the folks in economy);
- whether the flight attendant had something nice for breakfast.
It's definitely worth trying. They're supposed to be into customer service, after all.How do I ensure that I can get off a plane first?

until you learn how to spell captain, nobody is going to let you near their aircraft.....beyond that, it takes years and dollars.....starting at the bottom, working your way up through flight engineer, on aircraft that still have those, then first officer for alot of years and then, maybe, you might make captain. How to be a best pilot or captin of a plane ?I am sorry - but - what is the question that you are asking? I am confused? My husband is a pilot - flying for a Regional Airline... I can tell you that flight training is a long - but - rewarding process...definitely NOT cheap either. Maybe you could tell us exactly what you are asking...and we can go from there. :o)How to be a best pilot or captin of a plane ?

What Can I Take On The Plane In My Carry On?
We are going to probably take carry ons instead of having to put them underneath. I want to know how strict they are about like makeup and razors and things like that. Also IDK what to call it but like the bag I put things in to do on the plane what can i take in that..Things like feminine needs and IPOD and my laptop. What all can i take. Also am I able to take nail polish as something to do on the plane ride? What Can I Take On The Plane In My Carry On?In the US, restrictions regarding what can and cannot be carried onto an airplane are at the discretion of the government, not the airline. The TSA, which is the agency that creates and enforces these rules, states that any liquid items (including your nail polish and other liquid makeup) may be taken onboard the plane in your carry-on luggage so long as it meets the restrictions for liquids discussed in the first page below. These policies allow these items to be taken onboard the plane with you so long as they are in containers that are 3.4 fluid ounces (100mL) or smaller, and placed into a quart-sized ziploc bag. You're allowed as many of these containers as will fit into the bag such that the bag can still close, and each passenger is allowed to have one ziploc bag. If your liquid items are larger than 3.4 ounces, or you have more containers than will fit in the bag, then you'll either have to check a bag or leave those items at home -- they won't be allowed on the plane.
With respect to the other items you mention (the feminine products, iPod, laptop, and razors), those items are all allowed in your carry-on bag. Note that the second link, also from the TSA's website, specifically notes the common disposable razor as being allowed in your carry-on bag. Anyone who gives an answer stating that they are not allowed is not correct.
The other thing you should keep in mind is that while your laptop and iPod are allowed, you're not permitted to use them at certain points on the plane. Typically, the usage of electronic devices is not allowed during taxi, takeoff, and landing, so if you want to use those items during the flight, you'll only be allowed to do so when the flight crew specifically says it's okay to use electronic devices. (Also, you'll only be able to use them with wireless shut off, so you'd have to disable this feature to use these devices, if they have the capability.)What Can I Take On The Plane In My Carry On?You should definitely look into the requirements at the airline, they should have a section on their website where you can look this up. You definitely cannot take razors on a carry on. makeup and nail polish has to be a certain ounce. Some airlines are different so I would look on the website. What Can I Take On The Plane In My Carry On?Well take a separate bag with you. Put your Ipod and laptop there also the nail polish. Take anything you want in a separate bag so you can carry it in the plane , but first idk how your gonna get internet service , but you can ask.
