What should i bring or do on a 8 hr plane trip?

My family is going away for the summer and our plane trip is going to be 8 hours long. Im wondering what i should do. I no i could read a book, and do electronic stuff but i don't want to. i want to do something that has nothing to do with electronic. Throw in an empty water bottle or two in you carryon bag. I take off the tops and put them in a clear plastic bag. never had any trouble with security. Okay even though you said no electronics, I still recommend an ipod, and put a song that makes you sleepy so you can easily fall asleep. You can always print out a map of where your going, and with a marker or something point out everywhere you want to go while on the trip.

Also you can look out the window every once in a while and look down at the city your flying over and take pictures. Take something that you like doing when you're bored. If you're good at throwing your voice, you can try to make it sound like someone is hitting on the woman in front of your seat in the next row, but that's too risky. Bring pop rocks - those could cause some ruckus. If you know another language, start asking a stewartess things that don't make sense in any language. Act like you're having a panic attack and ask repeatedly to get drinks from the cart. Write a series of short stories. Answer questions on Yahoo Answers. Stuff a suitcase with packing peanuts and 'accidentally' pull the zipper open. You know... You're never going to see those people on the plane anyway, so make the most of it.

A good book and some water. The inflight entertainment system will keep you busy for about 4 hours.
You should bring a portable dvd player. im going on a 14 hr trip and im bring a deck of cards, i pod, DVD player, and magazines cuz they aree better than books.
